Needle for the soul
Gold and glitter I have gathered, Look! How do
I look? A talking mirror… Are you? The sage had said.
His tattered dress, a bowl in hand; Still he be happy, does not steal. Speaks
needs, to gather his meal; Talks less, maybe once.
Lest he be needing, does not want, Open sky his… - Yours envy and greed.
Gathering more of less, Knowing all of none, What life liveth thee? – In dream and walk. The soul tattered, torn and shun, Ponder not but act,
time belongs to none.
Quicketh the wiser, late will not mend, Come let me sew, I have a needle for the soul.

Acme
Acme a point of view – Privilege for a very few
How to get better? – Is no longer the Quest
In this materialistic World,
The looks are amorous, and,
The mind filled with
sanguine interest.
What can be done to restore Earth & Peace?
- Is there no Peace left?
The truth appalls.
‘To forgive is divine’ – Is written
On the golden sands of Time,
Yet – to give vengeance and anger a vent
People are too appetent.
Our Earth is left arid,
‘O’ People of the World rise,
Put on your long shun aureole
Let’s get to work together
Before we turn Azoic.
A candid confession I make –
“Do not adjourn”
Because the only thing left Will be to – mourn!

Distance
The charm that enthrals
my soul, from within, Where is it?
"From longiness grows the heart, 'Distance' makes the heart grow fonder."
How wrong you were ‘O’ Wise man, Just wrote what you were aligned to. Not a word of truth, in fact, Utter nonsense, I must say.
I realize, I should not have read, And tried your way.
The day turned into a moonless night, The darkness keeps me into a stubborn fright.
I tried to be away for a while, Thinking, it might bring love, back again…
The instructions were clear in what you had written, But the 'distance' only spread poison, Into what was already bitten.
"From longiness grows the heart, 'Distance' makes the heart grow fonder."
How wrong you were ‘O’ Wise man, Just wrote what you were aligned to. Not a word of truth, in fact, Utter nonsense, I must say.
I realize – I should not have read, And tried your way.

We will Win
I will persist, I will win...
To my own best, I shall perform, Each day will be a victory for me.
If I face failures at times I shall remember that- ‘Will not the shimmering darkness of the night, Only help to brighten the glimmering star?’
I will persist, I will win...
Failure will never make me look back again, Without experiencing failure, holding on to Future success would be in vain. The obstacles lying at my feet, Can never take my goals away; I will build a titanium castle with my efforts, While others continue to live in caves, of their clay.
I will persist, I will win...
I will climb today's mountain with all my abilities, So that the next I climb will be higher than yesterday.
Yesterday's defeats, Yesterday's mourning, Yesterday’s misfortunes, and Yesterday's aches of the heart, Are all a thing of the Past I will persist, I will win - That's what I believe in, and that's what will last.
Wealth shall never be the goal of my life It is the 'heart' not the 'purse', which is more divine.
Not so selfish am I, To play this game alone, "We will persist, We will win", Lets all make this a motto our own.
(Remember: “Persistence towards your goals is the key to the door of
success.”)

Quick!
The rose smiled to your eyes! Did you see?
The sky tapped your shoulder! Did you feel? The flower recited to you, a poem! Did you hear?
The cast shadow of a tree, Emits the warmth of a mother’s open arms. The star’s twinkle above, Spreads the love of a father’s caring eyes.
Did you hug the tree? Did you reciprocate to the star?
Did you see? Did you feel? Did you hear? Did you touch?
If you missed, hurry! Time is less, journey will end soon.
Quick! Paint a picture! Sing a song! Write a poem!

Irony!
Sometimes the mind Stays ‘put’. Rocky used to also.
He was a good follower, Stayed ‘put’, only on command.
The mind has a mind of its own, Stays ‘put’ only at its own will. An essence of a true leader!
A true leader! What an irony!
This true leader leads men- To bloodsheds, bombings, vengeance and jealousy.
This true leader leads majestic stallions- Into a sty!
A true leader! What an irony!

Apart from the
heart
Apart from
the heart, To walk, I cannot.
So many manage, I wonder how!
Stops my beat, stops my breath, To walk apart from the heart.
So many
manage, I wonder how!
A travel from the heart, apart, Reaches a destination much apart;
I will manage, I will reach, How will you? Where will you? I wonder how!

It's playback
time!
Lights, camera, action, Record...
As usual, I am adroit at not breathing my natural, At occasions as these. Tucked my tummy, tucked my anger, Walked with pride, For the worldly eyes.
Jiffy! As usual, the fancy lights were put off! The party was over.
On the way home, As usual, I was driving full speed, alone. Jiffy!
Breathing my most natural, I rang my door bell. As usual, she was adroit at waiting to open, when I ring.
The lenses shifted on me, –And what did she see? My tummy not tucked in, and my anger from the ‘tuck’,
– ‘Out’!
That day, she spoke to my anger strangely, As if, a stranger it was to her. She had always seen my anger wear a 'BEWARE'
badge, When challenged in its own territory.
The badge was not a license to kill, But my anger hates people having a short memory.
I wiped away all the proofs, Right from the fingerprint to the stains! But somehow I strongly sensed that, Some lenses were panning ‘ME’, And soon I would be in chains!
Jiffy! Cut! Edit! ‘Welcome Adam’, –it’s playback time!

Life has to carry
on…
The bus is standing still, Still is my taxi standing next. Still is the moped and the man sitting, It is still Red at the signal post.
But it is just a matter of time The light will turn green And everybody will carry on. Life has to carry on...
I push on 15, he opts for 11, She says, “6 please”, He readily agrees to help.
The door closes, We lie still, He is still, She is still, But soon the door will open...
My door opens on floor 15, His opens on floor 11. I lie still, But I know it is just a matter of time, I will carry on, Life has to carry on...
With looks that could kill; and that day, it did! Those eyes wounded and left scars noone else could see. I lay still, thinking, It is just a matter of time, And I will carry on. Life has to carry on...
I could not forget, in all these years, Your last words constantly ring in my ears, Yes, life has to carry on...

Cheers!
Toast to the rising Sun, But- brings no bread to the poor.
Cheers to the millennium crowd, But- quenches no thirst to the downtrodden.
This party is no party at all! Let us not participate in these fake parties of different kinds
daily.
Let us promise to hold on to our toasts, and wait, Till we can can raise our 'toast' and 'voice', as 'one', And scream to the entire world -
"To the downfall of suffering,
hunger, and pain, - CHEERS!"

Isness
"The spring will go.
The fog will appear.
The green in the tree will not remain...
But –Who can take away what 'is'."
(Remember: The 'isness'
is what truly belongs to you.
So whatever you are, always never fear to just 'be'.)
