Soulbath Peace Foundation reached out to students of MitraJyothi (An institute for the visually impaired) through the CORPORitual life series workshop. The visually impaired students are currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma program in Computer studies through the Institute. Soulbath Peace Foundation is associated closely to provide life solutions to them to help them discover and work towards their dreams.
ENCHANTING FLUTE MUSIC FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED
(Picture: On the flute- Mr. Shibnath Chakravarthy)
The evening began with a melodious flute recital by Mr. Shibnath Chakravarthy beginning with the Alaap of Hamsadhwani that built momentum into various notes wonderfully carving out silence and peace in all our hearts and soul.
Kailash hails from Nagpur at the institute commented that “It is good that music has no language. It has stopped the outer noise and I could listen to something inside me.” Radha from Darjeeling was reminded of her hometown and the schools. Swarna from Chennai said that “this was the best gift in the longest time that she has received and feel fulfilled.”
Our discussions revolved around the impact that music had created and its need in today’s fast paced life. Since the students are aspiring for placements the CORPORitual discussions revolved around pursuing our goals, pitfalls in the journey through emotional upheavals and the magic formula of life.

We understood different expressions through which the body and mind respond through a crisis and how all of us at some point get into a loop of pleasing our loved ones, often moving very far away from the goal of our life. Sometimes team work could also result in competition and with all this we feel hurtful. This chain continues and even before we have realized time has moved on and we don’t appreciate our reality.
A reality check of the NOW through the CORPORitual Values of Living and the secret of forgiveness in our lives were experienced. Students at the end of the session were also given C-VOL Audio CDS.
Soulbath Peace Foundation has donated special CORPORitual copies in the Braille version as well as conducted many audio book readings of CORPORitual specially recorded for the visually impaired students so that they also can benefit with the life enriching messages of CORPORitual.
Everybody has a dream but someone who is passionate about their dream follows it through all situations in life. This ensures a collaborative consciousness rather than a competitive spirit and that is where the C-VOL -Practice Compassion becomes more meaningful to move someone away from the rat race and focus on sharing success with all. When students embark on their journey of life towards their dream with this spirit then the rat marathon will soon be replaced by collaborative inclusive communities where every individual is unique and their living becomes a celebration of life.
I once heard Sri Raj Bhowmik expresses it beautifully through these lines :-
“I have learned that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.”
It only reminds us about the road in life and that our only job is to be aware of our next step and align it to our goal. Over a period of time, destination is carved through several opportunities that come our way. When we are aligned to the goal we are able to recognize these opportunities and we see it finally in every moment of our Existence.
As a Raj Bhowmik Back-To-Society DREAM (RB-BTS DREAM) Volunteer, I had one of the most beautiful days of my Life that helped me experience pure, unconditional love – a love that needs no words and no sight but only feels and allows. I am forever grateful to Sri Raj Bhowmik and Soulbath Peace Foundation for the simple C-VOL formula that is applicable in all contexts of life. I am only more humble to life and thank Raj for giving me this beautiful opportunity to express my love and gratitude to others through these wonderful moments created during our journey that makes it worthwhile for us. These experiences allow us to reach our own inner self more deeply.
